Shubhangi Mantri paints a variety of subjects and is often inspired by her world travels. With a degree in Interior Design, she began her study of painting in the medium of oil. She credits artists, Jo Williams, Leo Smith, and Jane Jones with introducing and motivating her in the medium of watercolor. She has attended workshops with many national artists including Katherine Chang Lui, Fran Larson, Alex Powers, Doug Walton, Don Andrews, Stephen Quiller, and Christopher Schnick.
